Friends...

In this new #sharehandmadekindess challenge, I have thought about how many cards I send to my friends that I see on a day to day basis.  And its not very often.  So that is changing.  :)  I hope to send several this week, including this one I made today...

November 2015 MFT

Jumbo Fishtail Banner Stax to make the layers and the card base.  I added in some of the Hot Cocoa cups in Grout Gray.  Then I Copic colored the cocoa and the hearts.  To finish off the hearts, I added some stickels with a sprinkle of glitter on top.

November 2015 MFT

Easy peasy!  I love all the white!

Hope you have been enjoying your Thanksgiving holiday.  We have officially been iced in the house now for 2 days.  The roads are awful.  But the fire place is hopping and the kids are glued to their iPads and I am in my craft room and we are all happy.  And now I am about to go take their iPads away so we can go make cookies!  :)

So glad you stopped by today!  Have a great weekend!

Marshmallows.

So are you stuffed?  I am.  I do have to say I ate pretty healthy....I don't eat a lot of carbs anymore....but still lots of good food!  I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving day!  Now on to the shopping right?  IF you are brave enough for those crowds.
Me?  I choose Amazon Prime in my PJs.  :)

I made a card to share today using the November MFT goodies, Get Toasty.

November MFT

First, I die cut several of the branches in white cardstock and colored them with different shades of Copic browns.  Then I did the same with the fire.  I used 3 colors of copic to get the streaky fire look. I added a little ink blending on to the marshmallows for the toasty look.  The background is a little blended Berrylicious for a tag bit of color.  And last, the sentiment that ties all these fun dies together.

MFT is having a sale!  Stop over and do some shopping!

I hope you have a great weekend with family and friends or even just some time to veg out on the couch!  So glad you stopped in today!

Winnie and Walter Confetti....

Hey there crafty friends!  I am so happy to be joining in with the girls over at Winnie and Walter today to showcase their new set called Scenery: Bigger Bang Confetti.  I have a little watercolor creation to share with you.

To make this background panel, I took some watercolor paper and spritzed it with water a couple times.  Then I inked up one of the star burst images and then spritzed it with water too, and then started stamping.  Keeping them all lined up, created this fun polka dot panel.  You can see the fun watercolor look it has.  This was definitely fun to make.  Next, I stamped the sentiment "thanks" from the same set and cut it out. I popped it up on foam tape and then added in some rain drops for a fun effect.

Hugs!

Hey there!  Just stopping in with a card so very appropriate for today!  It's cold!  We went to sleep with our first snow and woke up with a gorgeous frost.  I decided it was time to pull out these new sets from MFT and get work!

Print

I stamped the hat, gloves and scarf with Bubblegum and Cherry Crisp.  Then I added it to the stitched panel from the Horizontal Cover up.  I scored the background and then airbrushed in a little BG01 for a slight blueish green glow.  I stamped the sentiment with my Misti....its always perfect with that thing!

I am off to go shoe shopping.  We are headed out with friends tonight and I need a new pair of shoes for my outfit.  Do you have any fun plans for this weekend?  Hope its a great one!

Have a great day!

A treat...

So I attempted my first periscope yesterday.  Ummm....I was shaking.  That is a nerve wracking thing to do when you are talking to air and can't edit it out.  I also had settings wrong so people who aren't following me couldn't comment.  Thankful for the many messages following telling me they enjoyed my little scope and how to change my settings for next time.  Next time?  We will see!  hehe!

So during that scope, I made this card...

This new set from MFT is called Top Dog.  I don't usually color....I'm sure you know that by now, but I figured a could blend a couple browns together for this special occasion.  You see, this card is for my friend Chari.  And did I think Chari would pop in on the Scope?  Nope didn't think of it.  So I spoiled the surprise right there on Periscope.

I took the Chunky Chevron Cover up for the background and used the little negative from the Horizontal Companion Cover Up for the sentiment.  I added in a heart die colored with the same Copic as the little bow.  The heart is from the Top Dog dies.

So that is it for this Monday morning.  I am off to the gym.  And then home to do some cleaning.  Doesn't sound super fun does it?  :)

Hope you have a fantastic Monday!  Thanks for stopping in!
